We are proud to have sponsored the Heritage & Arts Establishment of the year award as part of last night’s SLC awards.

The SLC Awards finds and honours the best achievements in the sports and leisure catering sector. Entries are encouraged from stadia, theatres, National Trust sites, theme parks, golf clubs, sports and leisure complexes, race-courses and independent entertainment venues.

As a sponsor of the awards night we are proud to have announced the winner of the heritage and arts establishment of the year. Aimed at venues including art galleries, museums, heritage and historical visitor attractions, this award looked at how guests are catered for and how they compete against high street restaurants.

Congratulations to CH&CO destinations (Café at the Palace, Holyroodhouse) on winning the award, as presented by Filta managing director, Edward Palin. We would also like to congratulate all of the other winners from last night.

As one of the main sponsors of the awards, we occupied a stand towards the back of the drinks reception where guests had the chance to win x2 tickets to Grease the Musical by playing ‘fight the fatberg’. Andy Waters from Twickenham (pictured below with Edward Palin) scooped the top prize after scoring 208 points on the darts board.
